Rainier Wood Recyclers is the Northwest's largest wood recycler, recovering nearly 250,000 tons of wood fiber in 2006. Serving public and private sector customers since 1989, Rainier is also one of the most experienced wood recycling companies in the country. Rainier currently operates one permanent processing system in Covington and 4 mobile operations that can moved to customer job sites.

Rainier is very proud of the quality and ethical standards of our management and operational personnel. The company was founded on the belief that we could provide a much needed service to the business and local communities. The company provides a cost effective means of handling wood waste that has historically been landfilled at substantial cost or burned on-site in open piles.

Company Management

Tony Bennett - President - Tony is a founding principal of Rainier Wood Recyclers and oversees financial management of the company and provides strategic leadership for future growth.

Tim Bennett - Operations Manager - Tim is a founding principal of Rainier Wood Recyclers and oversees new project development and is responsible for day-to-day operations of our primary processing facility in Covington, Washington.

Bob Sargent - General Manager - Bob is a principal of RWR who guides strategic business relationships and leads the company's marketing efforts by working to develop and manage customer relationships that fit with the products and services we provide.

Curt Bennett - Field Manager - Curt manages on-site grinding and clearing projects and serves as the resource point person for both customers and field operations personnel. He works to ensure customer satisfaction, achieve timely job completion, resolve problems and coordinate logistics.

Ed Strauser - Finance - Ed is responsible for oversight of financial activities and accounting personnel.
